The work is a poetic exploration of cybernetics. Synthetic voices in French, English, and Japanese converse on the theme of dialogue. Algorithmic electronic music and audio-reactive visuals respond to the guitarist’s live improvisation. The piece weaves together multiple forms of communication—calligraphy, robotic voices, and the phonetics of the guitar.

Djalog is a work I created in 2015 during an artistic residency at PRIM Montreal, a center dedicated to video and film media. The project was developed in collaboration with the Montreal avant-garde music organization Codes d’accès, and was premiered at the Suoni per il Popolo music festival in Montreal.
